Chainrings with 144 BCD and 3/32" width chain should work OK with derailleur chain. The shifting might not be as good as the latest-and-greatest pinned-and-ramped rings, but it will probably work.

T.A. Specialties makes them, although they are pricey. If you find 3/32 instead of the common track 1/8 you might be able to get away with it.
