I like the Felt. Would get something from a LBS so you can get a free year year plus of tuneups unless your good with a wrench. Would also want to test ride something before I pull the trigger.

wrong way cyclist in the NYC is driving me crazy. I can see them from blocks away coming. Always in areas with tons of bike lanes so it would be easy to be on a road going their way.

Looked at the Cannondale. Mechanically it was sound, but some rust on bolts and parts. Did not feel 'right' when riding so I passed. Stopped by a LBS and bought a new Jamis Coda. :)

I see a lot of huffy's in NYC. Mostly parked in front of restaurants as delivery type bikes. In many ways a perfect bike for the city. Not worth it to steal and works for short rides.
