If you’re staying with center pull brakes, grind the brake cable hanger, not the fork. Hold it centered while you tighten the headset locknut. Once that is tight, you’ll be good.:thumb:

That looks to be a 1973 Super Course TT which originally had tubular tires. Brake shoes are high, so may have been fitted with clinchers. The later Mk.II had white panels on the ST and DT.
