I mean, sure it may help. I only use mine whenever there is decreased visibility. Rain, Fog, Snow, Nighttime. Alot of these light are not going to make a difference in the daytime.

You can get some fairly good tool boxes that can fit all your tools, and my tools never really get greasy and messy in the toolbox. Just have a cloth to wipe them down before ya put them back in....
