Wheel saver or wheel stop would do the trick, I think. I haven't had an issue, but the smallest tires I've used on the 1UP with the fat adapter are 28mm.

Yea, that's what I'm saying. But the 1up rack is so simple it would be easy enough to get longer bolts, a couple washers, and build it wider to fit 5"+ if I wanted to go bigger than my 4.8"
