I'll keep you updated if I find out more about the frame. But in the mean time, it's a keeper, I'm growing to like it.

Now the tricky question. Should I leave the Flandria stickers...

Actually not really, the front rivet was like that when I got the saddle. The bolt was loose all the time, but the leather is so dry it didn't move, even with soaking.

Furthermore, the stickers are not really good quality, they tear quite easely. I might end up taking them off

Hey everyone, I am looking for your knowledge here.
I found this bike. It has shimano 600 tricolor group and a columbus frame, it actually rides quite nice. But I wonder about these Flandria...

Al right thanks ! I did the soaking part, worked great. I didn't go for sanding though, just cleaned it.
Now it has a ok shape and the leather is not teared so I guess I can just use it like this...

For what I found so far, it seems that it was a Weinmann brand that became independant in the early 60's and kept on making rims until late 90's. Couldn't find much more info though
