I just installed a Tektro RX5 mini-v front brake. Very pleased with braking and degree of travel. BTW, I think the "T" in TRP is "Tektro".

Thanks, all. Gonna stay with the Tektro Mini-V on front, EuroX on rear for now. Great braking and no chatter. We'll see about clearance when we finally get a muddy race day. You know it's coming.

What is best replacement fork for eliminating chatter?

2009 Blue CX6.5 with stock fork. TRP EuroX Alloy cantilever brakes. Pads toed in and free cable as short as straddle cable would allow. Horrid chatter still present under hard braking.

Have heard good about the Mud2's. Personally I run Challenge Grifos on both the tubular and clincher wheelsets, same tread. My tubulars are 34's but the 32's give you plenty enough tire to race on.

I have the same build but with DT Comp spokes and 20/24. I'm 175#. Really nice set. Can't speak for the Tunes, but I don't think you can go wrong with the 240s's.
