Why do you want to change your MTB for a gravel bike, I have both but found very little advantage of the gravel bike over the MTB which is probably a better all rounder.

Honestly don't worry ... I've had 6 knee operatons, 2 hip replacements and 4 weeks into recovery from the 2nd hip replacement a ruptured intestine which resluted in emergency surgery and a colostomy...

I had a nasty fall with the right hip taking a large impact in the summer ... whilst it didn't stop me doing anything it was incredibly sore for a long perdiod of time like a bad bruise ... strangely...

Personally I'd rather ride with others but I prefer a small select group rather than rent-a-crowd and go with people who I know cycle at the same speed as I do and happy to do the same distance I do...

Nowt wrong with that .... when me were about 26 me and the now Mrs bought Halfords Apollo bikes for 90 each.

We had those bikes for years at a mobile home at the coast and used them every weekend...

Anyone else cycling after a hip replacement ... I've had both of mine done the last coming up to 2 years ago and the 1st coming up to 5 years ago.

I've been cycling a lot for the last 1 1/2 years...
