I'll add my voice to the chorus of "don't worry about it." I've experimented with stems ranging from 100mm to 60mm on one bike, and quite honestly I can't tell any difference whatsoever in handling....

Can't imagine why a new crankset is a more viable option than the chainring that checks all of your boxes. Amortize that 80 bucks over a two-year lifespan, and it's ten cents a day.

IMO, it was a good call to combine the MCD and the Road+ into a single model. While I'm not a fan of the head tube visually, I would definitely consider one of these frames for a disc gravel build....

Bedding-in your rotors and pads helps eliminate squeal and vibration and maximizes their stopping power, but it doesn't necessarily affect the way the brakes "feel" in any noticeable way.

Lots of the big cruisers are really heavy. Good for wheelies, but the long wheelbase and the weight aren't optimal for bunnyhopping. IMO, the closest thing to the feel of a 20" is a 24" cruiser....
