And this is exactly why I prefer to take my chances on cheap used (nice) bikes, rather than being fitted for a bespoke custom frame. After paying $$$, it could just not feel or ride great.

No Brooks, but some very nice Campy upgrades: shifters, both derailleurs, hubs. And the Stronglight 93 is I think also an upgrade. I would call that a very attractive price for that build.
