My true value 3/8 drive socket set works on them too but I did run across one campy non drive side crank arm that it had trouble with. It seems all campy crankarms are not the same.

Since it's claw mount I would recommend the suntour 7. They were slightly heavier than the pricier suntour and worked well. Also indestructible.

Personally I'd go 36 front and back with panniers front and back. The bike is an excellent choice if it fits. I typically carry most of my weight up front since my butt is hard enough on the back...

I will get frame blocks before this gets too far along. I think the dent and the rust are the reasons I could afford this frameset. I like patina but I do have limits.
