I would not be able to ride the hills around here with your gearing.

My small chainring (like yours) is 30T, but my lowest (largest) cassette cog is either 34T or 36T, depending on my wheel-set.

I love my Mirrycle mirror... the only issue I have is that on rare occasion I try to slip through a gate opening and manage to clip the mirror itself... it snaps right off, broken. It is a hassle...

You need to look at the clearance in the largest cog. I mocked up a Shimano 10 speed (46t) on my 20" wheeled Bike Friday, and the cage barely cleared the ground in the largest cog. Too close for me.
