I dunno. Same shoes, same general pedal location, the TIMEs feel comfortable and no hot spots, LOOKs give me a spot right under the ball of my foot when I had the in service.

I got hot spots on the Shimano SPD pedals I used, and the LOOK Keos. They went away when I switched to the TIME iClic/Xpresso. For me, it had to do with the width of the cleat base on the pedal.

Kurt Kinetic makes an awesome trainer. They have a couple of different modes, and if your bike can handle your weight, I think they can too. They're pretty damn sturdy.

My GF just bought some Novara capris and a skirty thing from REI. She loves them. They also have cycling liners that are basically knickers + a chamois so you can wear whatever on top of them....
