After a pro fitting, I felt awful on my bike when I got serious for at least a month. Now it fits like a glove though I've adjusted nothing ( fit wise) since I've bought it.

Best question i could ask the OP is: what was your bp five years ago Also you'd have to factor in things such as past medical history, family history etc....

specialized toupe is a great saddle once you get used to it. For me at least. A lot of people in my group ride either it, or some type of Brooks saddle, or a Selle Italia ( don't know which one ).

To whomever said they spin up a 20% grade you must have some crazy leg muscles and great endurance. I can't imagine spinning up a 20% grade with a 53/39. At that point for me its mashing time.

I use shimano shoes and love them. Hardest part about buying shoes is the size/fit.
Ohhh I'd recommend one with a buckle type device imo.
