You are correct, and I stand corrected. Def not Reynolds, and after reading the article, I am less fearful of the bonded frame...especially one built so late in the game. Thanks for your input.

Vitus 979 Dural, w/ full Dura Ace 7402 SIS8
In 2007 it was refitted with Ultegra 6600- 10 Shift / brake levers and RD, C53/39 and 11/28 RD
I've mostly ridden here...

Introducing myself (again? Lets see if this one works :)

Bought this great bike around 1991 (the year it was built according to serial nos) It was full Dura Ace 7400 I believe, sis 8.
Wanted shifters on the bars so moved to Ultegra 6700 =10 spd in 2007....
