You could get it chrome powder coated. I have seen it done and it looks pretty good. Not as nice as real chrome but maybe good enough for your purposes. Much cheaper and environmentally friendly.

Depending on the year of your Holdsworth the rear spread may be closer to 120mm than 126mm. My '72 Holdsworth Professsional is around 120mm.
