i think you are mistaken Monk. LTHR can change with training. thats why endurance athletes even bother checking it every few weeks. you must be thinking of VO2MAX.

Im doing that right now and it works perfectly fine. i have a few extra clicks at the low end that do nothing but thats all. Saved me nearly $100 versus the double brifter too.
