I would suggest they go just a bit east and ride the north end of 29 Palms. There is a really cool impact area up there. A few rounds of 155 will get their average speed up quite a bit.

The Kestrel 4000 was the first monocoque CF frame and was introduced in 1987. It is pushing 30 years old. Sweet bike and if this one is in good shape, with all Dura-Ace, the price is not at all bad.

I actually converted my PDG to SS a few years ago. This summer I brought it back to life with the original components (with the exception of a compact crankset). It is a sweet riding bike. Enjoy!
