Do you have any idea if the decals on the Pro Tour are original? The decals on my '77 PT looked exactly like the decals on your SP, including condition. Mine is also the same color as both of yours.

If you have no preferences one way or the other, I'd just try to put some miles on it as it sits. The Shimano shifters are pretty nice, too.
