There is a small dent at the top of the rear door on the Forester. Virtually no damage to the house... a small ding just above the garage door that is only noticeable if you are looking for it.

The cable is caught on the end of the pivot... but the travel of the derailleur takes the cable across it. The cable drags across the pivot each time the derailleur shifts...
