I have 30 mm slicks in my road bike, I recently flatted and took it to my LBS. The tube they used was rated for tires 35 mm - 42 mm. Is it ok to use a tube designed for a bigger tire?

I use a top tube frame bag with a 2l platypus hoser reservoir, replaced the hose with a cap. Canít drink from it while riding but I do use it to top off my bottles as needed.
