I once had someone try and steal my motorcycle while I was on it, bike running, stopped at a light. Didn't end well for that person.

I think that's the way I'll go for around town and errands and use two u-locks as pictured. Less weight carrying two u-locks compared to a u-lock and a square chain! I'll leave the chain in the cage...

Thanks for the kind words everyone. Another advantage I found was a u-lock fits perfectly between the space between the outer rail and inner track that accepts the Topeak luggage.

So just a little bit about me, 36 years old, used to me a messenger in Philly and NYC in the late 90's, rode a fixed gear back then, basically just bikes that friends built, then about 6-7 years ago...
