Thanks, guys.

For now, I'm slowly upgrading my Swift--adding a used XT drivetrain since my shifters have been skipping recently. Maybe if I'm feeling flush, I'll add a leather saddle or...

I'd like to attach a small basket for my...

Any thoughts on the Pakit?

It's been a while since I've been on bike forums, largely since I've been really happy with my Xootr Swift and Miyata touring bike.

However, I just turned 34.
I'm feeling sorta old. I'd like to...

I feel like I should back away from selling my swift.

Will hide it somewhere and breathe slowly and deeply.
I'll have to see how much I use it in the next few months.

Folders you regret selling?

Dear Bikeforums,

For the past 12 years, my Xootr Swift has been my trusty companion...good and bad times. However, I've recently picked up a Miyata 1000LT--and I only have space for one bike.

Nice bike!

Being a C&V guy (or just old at heart), I appreciate a nice lugged frame.

Trying to choose bars. Crazy bar? Jones Loop? Not sure

Dear BF,

On Dec 23, i won an auction for a 1989 Miyata 1000LT in my size.
However, the stem was too short (freakishly so) for me, and I found that I can't really handle riding drops (I'm getting...

They also have a sale going on for Spyderco fine ceramic bench stones.
IMHO, it's a great stone for the kitchen. I use mine for sharpening plane blades.
