Depends on hills, weather, traffic, route, conditioning, ect.

I find that biking a lot doesnt work all the muscles i need to really preform. I work my legs a lot in the gym and find biking easier not the other way around.

You'll probably spend 200-300 getting it fixed up with a seat, pedals, ect.



But why pay that much for a used older frame that probably isn't as light as the caad5...
