That makes sense to me. I was at one point thinking Model 125 with a quick release. They are starting to remind me of Weinmann brakes found on entry-level bikes from the 1970s. Thanks for the input!

Ditto. They were almost impossible to "true". Then you'd get the cheapo kids bikes with those dented rims from curb hopping. You would have to tap them back in using a block and hammer before trueing...
