Alright, I've test ridden many, many bikes and have decided to get a Felt F85. That said, I'm not sure whether to go for an 07 or the 08. Checking Felt's website, I've found the following...

Doesn't the TCR come with a 105/Ultegra mix? Either way, go with the Giant if you can get it at that price.

Nice bike. I definately like Felts and am considering one right about now.
I'd prefer some black bar tape and a black seat, but that's just me. :)
Good choice at any rate.

What bike for around $1000?

I know this kind of question gets asked a lot but searching for "1000 bike" only gets me Trek threads really.
I'm just wondering if there are any real good choices out there that I'm not seeing in...

I'd go to the local LBS and ride some first. I personally hate the Sora shifters (and the rest of the Sora line is sketchy as well) but that's just me. I know Felt makes some quality bikes at a good...
