+1 I love my SS. I have my currrent one set up Rando style with with a 48cm drop bar. Many hand positions with some added leverage. Comfy bike at +60mi as well.

It's more like 1100ft gain. Not technical at all. A lap under an hour is typical if not in a group ride setting. You will need a guide, as it is urban mtb'ing with lots of direction changes.
