This is based on a compromise of flat protection vs ride quality. The GP4000s doesn't have as much flat protection but rides much nice than Gatorskins.

Easton bars have pretty shallow drops and shorter reaches. I believe the EA 70 has shorter reach and drop as well as the EC 90 slx. One of the stiffest you can get as well as light.
