On the FR/DH bike: 26x2.5 all around but will eventually go down to a smaller 2.35 or 2.4 rear, keeping the 2.5 front.

While I do like the look of a one-sided hub, a flip/flop hub doesn't really look bad at all and is practical. Allah forbid you strip or otherwise damage the threads on one side...your hub isn't toast.
