The sales person told me that they are good. However, I bought the Kryptonite U-lock which also comes with a 4-ft cable instead. I found a way to mount it on my 13" frame bike. :D

I had a problem about a month after getting my new bike. I couldn't shift to the smallest and second smallest gears without the chain rubbing up against the front derailleur cage.

BikeGuard offers a folding U-lock model which fits my bike. In other words, the lock will mount on my bike without a problem. With regular U-locks there is just no room.
