Using this winter time to change my cruiser. First was the headset replaced with a nice Tange Levin CD unit. Ended up milling the ID to fit the 30.2 cups but kept the 27 crown race diameter.

Continuing to tinker with the 79 faux Roadster. This time a cable change from bottom tube to top. Lesson on tube sizes had me digging in the bin for a smaller clamp for the ferrel.

The PO, previous owner used a grease gun to lube the rear hub which is a no-no. To flush the hub you can take the wheel off the bike , remove the rod then through the cap squirt an appropriate fluid...
