Ive done the same thing.

Put the chain back it took a bit to get the pin back and not sticking. I have put over 60 miles on it. Including some hills.

Final thoughts on Nordic Gear Lectra Socks and foot wear from this winter.

I ended up finding them about as effective as a regular wool sock with perhaps a liner added. The batteries end up being something else to fool around with and dressing in the winter is complicated...
