In their last year of production, as far as I can make out, 1998, they put out a bicycle called the Urban Assault. Unlike the Crossfire, the Urban Assault had a tig-welded aluminum frame. The thing...

ice makes me think twice

Ice is the only thing I am not set up for. I've seen some studded tires advertised. They are pretty expensive, but I am thinking about them for next winter. (The government here has levied my income...

Better or worse in terms of what? We read reviews about wheels that help us climb better and wheels that help us sprint better, wheels for training and wheels for the track. We read about some carbon...

I think you are more likely to get ice and snow over there than over here. We get full advantage from the gulf stream. I've only seen it snow a few times and only once did it stay...

Hello, all.

I recently purchased my first road bike, my first racer, a 2009 Trek 2.1. (For the last seven years I've been on a Trek 800 Sport, which was modified for speed a few years ago.)...
