for low end beginners yes

I would say that most low end beginners wanting to learn from me would only benifit...I've only been fixing my bicycles and a few neighbours for 15 yrs..what would you think Joe?but to answer you question I would say yes.I'm my own bicycle mechanic

Do not agree with last post

We live In the Information age..email can fly back and forth very fast.Whats needed Is trust..and any lacking that might just has well go buy a book or get a library book.I've learned from the rust up and know anyone seeking to learn from me by email would only benifit...Just for beginners details would need to be worked out.email only: llo.yd2003@sasktel.net

How about starting a "101" or a "How to:" type thread on the forums?

A few ideas:

How to: Adjust your deraulures
How to: True a wheel
How to: Adjust your breaks
How to: Change cables

etc...

Thanks Joe

I'll have to think about that Joe..but In the meantime I'll just let everything go the way It Is fo now?The problem with teaching people on the forums Is Interferance
It's best to teach beginners one way..what they learn after that Is up to them
I fail to see how a person can make any money In what your advocating..Eh?
maybe were on to something here?

Ahh, so you want to do it one to one on a pay basis? hmm. I have a few ideas, but dont want to post them in this thread, feel free to PM me...

maybe pay the moderators better?

I think the moderators of various forums should be paid...then people could apply for moderator jobs?I know I've learned a lot from computer forums bicycle forums taxidermy forums people sharing Info for free...who'll ever buy a book?
