Hi,

My name is Lee Schmidt, and I am the webmaster/designer of Triathlon Forums (www.triathlonforums.com). I built this site for a school project, and because I am an avid triathlete. Triathlon Forums is an online web chat forum geared to provide an online community for triathletes. The website just launched recently, on Christmas Day.

The reason for this announcement is because I am looking for future moderators of Triathlon Forums, and/or people to just help get the community 'rolling'. Even if you aren't interested in becoming a moderator, I could use help from people who will help keep discussions active at the website. The reason being, it is a new website, and there is no community yet. I need a group of people to keep discussions active, so that new members directed to the website will not be turned away due to a lack of activity.

If you are indeed interested in becoming a moderator, I am hoping you would first become involved within the community. I am specifically looking for people experienced in triathlons, who would be able to answer questions of new members who post, or at least offer some type of advice. Basically, a group of you would do your best to reply to questions/topics, and create active discussions between yourselves and new members. If you were to become moderators, 'moderating' privileges would become available to you.

If you are interested in becoming a moderator in the future or helping in any way, please register and e-mail me (sparknote_s@hotmail.com). If you are not interested in becoming a moderator, please help me out by starting some discussions, and trying to start some activity there.

PS: I have to show considerable progress on this project by the end of the semester, so please let me know soon if you are willing to help out.
