1979 Schwinn Varsity 22” (Northern NJ)

Saved from the crusher. May 1979 build date. Metallic Sky Blue. All original. Needs work. Frame is straight, with some surface rust. Wheels look good – a couple bent spokes. Brake levers/calipers look good. Chainrings and rear cogs have light surface rust, but are hardly worn. Stem shifters look good. No tears in saddle. Bars and stem look good, with minor surface rust. Rear derailer needs work. Cage missing on front derailer. Tires have dry rot. No rear tube.
