I have a question about saddles. I am considering a brooks saddle but I wonder if they really are all they are said to be. Can anyone share their opinions, pros and cons? Is there really a huge difference in quality and comfort between the Brooks saddles and the ebay knock-offs from Asia?

I have a like-new Fizik Antares, looking for something comparable with a cut out or good channel.

Have: Selle Anatomica TitanicoX in black. Saddle has exactly 21 miles on it. The "X" model is too stiff for me.

With that small amount of use I think you could contact Selle Anatomica and do a return and swap with them. I have had three of their saddles and always received excellent customer service with two returns. One on a new saddle that had too much of the tension bolt used up just to tension the saddle properly for initial set up. The second was two years old and I bent the rails. Both were replaced quickly with no fuss.
