Inner Tube 700 vs 27 inch

Can I use a 700 inner tube on a 27 inch wheel?

I have an 80's Schwinn Letour and it has 27 inch wheels with presta holes. I'm having some trouble finding 27 inch presta tubes.

I have a 700X23 presta tube on hand, I'm running 1 x 1/4 tires on the 27 inch rims.

The tubes are completely interchangeable. The rough equivalents when comparing 27" tire sizes to 700c: 27 x 7/8 ~700 x 23c, 27x 1 ~700 x 25c, 27 x 1 1/8 ~700 x 28c, and 27 x 1 1/4 ~700 x 32c. So for your 27 x 1 1/4 tire, you'll need a tube suitable for a 700 x 32c tire-

Often on some 700c tube boxes, you'll see the 27" size also mentioned.

It'll work but, if you were buying one, I'd look for the 700 x 28mm to 35mm size.
