Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

If we stop posting on this thread, it will eventually die. What do you think?

I started the thread, so no. Besides it's fun and there has been some serious bike porn posted.

I have long legs relative to the length of my torso. Frame is a 55.5cm effective top tube length (CTC) and it fits me like a glove .... very comfortable. Kinda like the Toupe saddle ... it just works for me. Thanks for the feedback.

that makes perfect sense. people question the fit on my girlfriend's bike when it is riderless as well.

she is 5' 8" with an already long 32.5+" inseam. about 1.5in of your 2in height difference is in your legs. here is her bike with a 55cm tt:

what crank length are you running?

on the flip side, i am about 6' 1/2" with a 34in inseam and have a 58.5 ETT and a 120mm stem

I've seen comments like this recently about custom frames. What is the ideal setup with a custom frame? What are you looking at, the seat fore/aft? Stem/bars?

Nice looking frame, but lets see all the hardware on the other side, eh?

I forgot to mention in my first response, I think it would look much better without the decals on the rims.

Sean Rol sold me the wheels personally and took care of me. Don't mind doing him a favor.

Is there a trying-too-hard category? Lovely frame, but somehow the symmetrically aligned wheel labels set my teeth on Edge.
