Thanks for all the kind words. I'm growing quite frustrated that I haven't made time for a ride, but tomorrow afternoon looks promising.

It's custom. He'll make whatever geometry you want. Mine is 74/74 with more or less the tube measurements of a 57cm kilo though. (I wasnt' too picky about it)

Why the hell did you get it built to take such a short stem?! Not Pro.

its 90mm, maybe short for a 57cm bike but whatever. I like the way it handles since i've had it so long.

Thanks you. Yeah, I've become fond of fat tires, too. When I went to my LBS to get help putting the final touches on the Jury, I hopped on an old Specialized Allez with 700x23c tires. It was fun to zip around on, but the thin tires made me nervous. I know that's not grounded/rational; it just felt wrong.

At first, I had some Vittoria 32s on the Jury. The frame's clearance made them look puny. I hadn't ridden them since the bike was still without a crankset, so my LBS was fine exchanging them for those Ryders.

At some point, I'm sure I'll get/build a tarck FG with 23s. Nah, 25s. Ah, who am I kidding. I'll probably want 28s.

Giant Bowery with new flat black/gloss red paint job. Changed the drop downs and the brake levers. Took of the SS hub. Replaced the chain and tire.

Just how is a 90mm stem "too short" for that bike? Are you basing your opinion on what you think looks cool or something a little more solid?

He's probably basing it on the first picture, where the turned bars make it look like a 50mm stem.

Mother****er, my hoodie string just fell in my coffee. So not pro.

I didnt love the factory paint job. I decided to give it a little more style and make it uniquely mine. I had wanted to try flat black for awhile and finally got the guts to do it. I hope the matte clear coat holds up.
