29er for big guy - stupid?

I'm 6'4". I'm a big guy. Therefore, a 29er makes more sense for me than a bike with 26" wheels.

How stupid is this?

Bikes: Bike list is not a resume. Nobody cares.

You are part of the market that 29ers are especially suited for - - moreso than nearly everyone else. Go for it.

For your reference, the July '09 issue of Mountain Bike Magazine has a great article about 29'ers. Don't know how much of it is rhetoric, but the data sounds reasonable.

Bikes: a lot

Here's my take on it. If it feels good for the riding you plan on doing then it's good.
Even the tall BMX'ers have twinny fo's
