I ride in south and central Ontario, Canada out of Oshawa. We have some of the best roads in the country for riding as almost all of them are paved. Yes we do have broken and pot holed roads but very quiet. I will post some pictures after this mornings ride with my son.

Same here (Burlington) but I have yet to ride, as I just moved here in December and my bikes are still at a friend's house in NJ where I left them. I am looking forward to getting out there though.

Those pics of the countryside look great. Sadly, I mostly ride in the "Urban Core". Which means downtown and the surrounding areas. It's not so bad except for the numerous stop lights, stop signs etc.

All within a 25km radius of my front door.

I ride the Colorado Rockies. The air is thin, the roads are what you would expect in the mountains, but the scenery is great.



In this photo, I am cresting Loveland Pass during the 2009 Triple Bypass.

I ride in both the country and the city area. Here's some pics on my commute from home to my college and back. The last 3 pics are within less than 2 miles from my house.

I'm pretty much strictly rural. Here's a few pics relating to the Erie Canal, which I cross and sometimes follow when I go north, taken a couple of summers ago during my second century. Thanks to Machka's help, the second one was a lot easier than the first one, done a couple of weeks earlier.

Here's what's left of one of the old feeder canals that ran from Rome to Watertown, about 35 miles north of Rome along Route 12, a NYS designated "Bike Route" highway.

Really depends on my mood. I live in the 'burbs westside of Houston, so pretty close to city and country, with some MUPs too.

What was small town Ga 15 years ago, became (one of) the top growing countsy in the US for the past 10 years. Very urban now, but infrastructure is still small town, cow pastures in between sprawl. Most roads are fairly decent, when they don't just turn into dirt. I have a hard time finding good loops to run, mostly neighborhood rides or out and back rides to stay on pavement w/o getting onto main state highways. Drivers are very inconsiderate in this area and will run you down with a quickness.
I much prefer to go west from here to Griffin or Peachtree City to ride. Traffic is not less, but driver awareness is in a different universe.

fall is nice here. lots of short steep hills.

Yesterday was pretty darn nice for riding. It was great to feel the sun on my skinny, white, bare legs for a change. I imagine the tights will be back on next week if the current weather forecast holds.

Variety of rides in my area but most involve a bit of short sharp rises. And a bit of architecture (Ruins to most of us)

And High and Over- It is high enough and goes over the South Downs. Closed the road this week due to an unidentified body being found there.Unusual because our local suicide spot is Beachy Head- a 600fy straight drop into the sea.

Ride in the country on chip sealed roads with a mixture of flat, rolling hills or long big climbs. Some rail trails and other paved trails.
