Hi folks,
We've been thinking about what we can do to our product lineup as usual and wanted to seek some of your opinions.
Wheels:
S4.0-
We have reduced the weight of the S4.0s. They will be 1680-1700g/ set. In fact they are already at this weight now but we have yet to update our website.
We will be planning an S4.0SL for next year. We are already testing the new rims and they will be coming out at 1600-1610g as shown here:
Front-

Rear-

S2.0, S3.0 and S3.0SL-
Some have already been receiving our S2.0 and S3.0SLs with our new spokes which are lighter and have a higher fatigue life. We will be offering the S3.0 in a wide rim version as well, and they will be coming out at 24 x 30mm.
C-series wheels-
We will be releasing our new Prodigy wheels really soon. The first batch of wheels will be released as the C5.0 Prodigy. These are the first carbon rims we developed and own the molds for. Some members here have been testing these for the last couple of months and we have continued to work our asses off to get everything right and are finally confident in their performance. These have been developed as a lightweight all purpose racing wheel. The next will be our deeper section wheels at 62mm and also 22mm wide which focuses more on aerodynamics with a wider profile with a foil shape. They are still relatively light. The C4.0 will continue unchanged except for an update to our new lighter spokes.

C4.0 (40 x 20mm)-
Clincher only 1390g
C5.0 Prodigy (49 x 20mm) -
Clincher 1350-1370g.
Tubular 1150-1170g.
C6.0 Prodigy (62 x 22mm) -
Clincher 1470-1490g
Tubular 1350-1370g
We are currently also testing an ultra lightweight carbon tubular but have yet to decide on it's permanent feature in our lineup. Here's a peak at what they weight:
Front

Rear

... that's right, 915g total and that's with steel bearings and brass DS nipples. If we went with ceramic bearings and alloy nipples all around, they would be sub 900g.
Extras-
We will be offering new lightweight skewers as an option for our wheelsets and are developing a new rimplug for nipple holes.

Frames-
On the frame front, we have started the prototyping of our new TRUTH frame. The truth frame will be an aero road frame that can be used as a time trial frame..... well more like a time trial frame that can be used as a road bike I would say. Fully internal cable routed with under BB brake mounting and a reversible aero seatpost.

We also have an update to the Destiny, Faith and Fenix frames. The Destiny gets a bigger, much stiffer Diamond shaped DT specifically designed for BB30. The Faith will be painted and be done in a new alloy that is lighter thus keeping the painted frame weight the same. The joins will be smooth this time around and we may move to a integrated HT.

There are many other planned small updates here and there but these are the major ones. So fire away, tell me whether you like what you have read, or what you think we have missed out.

looks great.....can't wait to see the finished products!!
Raising the bar
Holy crap. When I was looking at the new wheels I was laughing in amazement. 900g wheels and the lightweight tubulars and clinchers are wicked cool too! You have earned a spot on my wish list!

Wonder how much weight those 900 grams wheels can stand... 200 pounds?
Are u guys going to develop some black wheels with white spokes or something?

The C6.0 is a very exciting development it sounds like. The Hed patent has expired I believe, does your rim actually bulge or are the rim walls just curved?
As far as the frame goes, I think unless you can do the following don't put another TT frame on the market:
1. Aero shaped tubes. i.e. blunt leading edge and sharp trailing edge.
2. no less than 2.5:1 tubes, no wider than 30mm on downtube or seattube.
3. Aero seat stays

What are the primary differences in the s-series hubs and the Soul Prodigy hubs? I am looking to get the S 3.0 and love the cost of the Xpert, and the ability to get red spokes...

The new C6.0 has a bulge. The truth will have aero shaped tubes, but the drawing is for the prototype in titanium and hence will have an ovalised tube. They will have aero stays instead of what's shown in the drawing.Originally Posted by Triguy

Most likely 6061 alloy to keep the cost down and since weight will probably not be of primary concern. Prices are premature at present.Originally Posted by rpeterson

Well, we've static tested the rims up to 300kg, but it doesn't really translate well to impact from a 200 pound guy going into a pothole at high speed. We actually have our S4.0s available with white spokes.Originally Posted by ultraman6970

The wide rim S3.0 sounds cool. Will the weight be comparable to the current wheel?

I'm interested in the S4.0SL next year aswell. Originally Posted by bmw5nkj

any chance you would sell the front wheel by itself? Since some of us ride PT rear so having a 40ish front would be a sweet set-up.
