80's Night!

I was doing a little garage cleanup, shuffling things around today. Ended up with this...

Then it occurred to me... I only need a few more to have the 80's decade covered

Not shown are 1982 Schwinn Superior and 1989ish Faggin. Shown are '85 and '87 Cannondales, '85 and '86 Peugeots, mid 80's Miyata.

There are some around here who think there's something wrong with me.

That is a nice little collection of machines you have there! My collection is more limited but I've got an 85 Schwinn World Sport and 84 Davidson Tandem... No pictures of the Schwinn, but here's one of the Davidson.

i just finished wrapping the handlebars on my 1989 ironman.. I can't wait to take pictures of it... of course it's supposed to rain for the next two days. I've got a great late-80s color scheme going on.. can't wait to show it off

Well, thanks! That was an eBay find. I put the Brooks saddles and fenders on it and retaped the bars with Cinelli corky tape. The bike puts a smile on my face every time I look at it.

But surely there isn't anything preventing you from taking something now to make you forget those years, right? :-P

You are planning to post the pics after you take them I hope. I'd like to see how it turned out.

Thanks for fixing my comment! This past weekend we went for a 25 mile ride and I had a grin on my face the entire time. Admittedly, we ride the Burley a lot more but that's because I refuse to take the Davidson on the gravel towpath near my house. Of course, the Burley is like riding a go cart, while the Davidson is like piloting a Buick.

You've got a nice collection of 80s machines it appears. Do you have them posted somewhere?
