ok i was given 5 junk bikes last night, and i am not sure what one of them is
i was going by a local church last night and they were throwing away some bikes and i took them home it was dark so i didn't get a chance to check them out until today,
the first 4 were nothing interesting 2 roadmasters and some painted steel frame mountain bike, and a walmart next 18 speed,
however one of them is an aluminum frame with no markings at all, except the handle bars which are also aluminum say "horizon sport component" and it has some little rubber end caps that say kalin,
it has a serial number on the bottom of the frame and it has some shimano shifters on it,
the whole thing is really light 26' wheels and knobby tires
i will try to post some pictures later but does anyone have any idea? i googled horizon sport component and kalin and didn't come up with much
any help appreciated

in case you can't read it it says horizon sport component on the handlebars and it says nothing anywhere else, except for the serial number?!
magnets won't stick to anyplace on the frame so it must be aluminum i'm guessing, its doesn't look it but its light as a feather too

MTB, components look to be lower end. Hard telling what it is, has the frame been stripped of paint and polished?

I'd rather make a single-speed than a fixed gear out of it, but whatever turns your crank. It won't be the most elegant piece of machinery, but it beats turning it into a wind chime.

Fix it up and ride it, can't go wrong for the price. On most low end bikes the frame is usually the best component.

Just a guess... But one of those generic frames that Nashbar sells? You can either buy the frame or buy one that's built-up already. They are sold as "bargain" bikes that are a cut or two above the typical box-store items.
