50+er at the Bend Big Fat Tour

The Big Fat Tour is held every year in October on the trails around Bend Oregon. I rode most of the course, leaving out one of the loops of the Epic ride on saturday. Distances and ascent from each day off my garmin:

Friday – Skull Hollow, 30 miles, 4700 feet of cumulative ascent.

Saturday – Epic Loop, 75 miles, 7000 feet.

Sunday – Cache Mountain, 22 miles, 2500 feet.

Three days of fantastic mountain bike rides, almost all the riding on singletrack trails. What more could you as for?

Here are a few photos:

After my "Little" visit back on the hills last Sunday--I am getting envious of you that still have the fitness to get out on the hills. Have to get out again this winter and see if I can still show the others how it is done.

And I need the green envy emoticon for your terrain- Looks fantastic.
