7.5 fx saddle replacement

After an incident today in the school yard in which a kid knocked over my bike and ripped the saddle can anyone out there recommend a good replacement saddle for the 7.5fx. BTW I didn't find the stock seat uncomfortable but now that my hand's been forced I wouldn't mind trying a new one. Thanks in advance.

this is the one I have. excellent ergonomic saddle and better than many that sell for five times as much. and if someone steals it, its only 25 bucks to replace (a 100+ dollar bike seat is a real easy and tempting target for thieves).

I have a 7.4FX, and hated the stock saddle. After 3+ weeks I gave up on it and bought a Bontrager Commuter Gel saddle. Incredible difference wherein after 20 minutes or so I barely notice that I'm sitting on it!
Best regards

both me and my best friend use the serfas RX-921 saddle. it's a fantastic saddle and will only set you back about $50, i highly recommend it.

here is a pic of my serfas RX-921 next to the original seat that came on my jamis (i removed the original seat after only 4 miles):

As you have a Trek Dealer near you, you can go there and have them measure your saddle bones and recommend the perfect fit.

I have one of these and it is clearly my favourite...
Feels great and a lovely looking saddle.

I also have this one and it's pretty nice to ride on too.

I got this one to test before I spend $250, at $70 it's a very nice saddle. I ride 3-3 1/2hrs with no pain.
