And the Serotta has been posted before

The wheel base on my bike is 930mm... but then it is probably a smaller frame than yours

The talisman is a maneki-neko (beckoning cat) from Japan and the bell is a Crane bell. (very loud!)
Sorry for the crappy pic.

What do YOU think of my first Fix'ed Grear Bike..?
Got home not to long ago from a ride and snapped a few pictures right before it started to rain.
I have a carbon forks, bars, and seat post on there.
shimano ultegra brakes.
surgino 75 setup.
i get people are not found of brakes on a FGB (fixed gear bike) but i'm just stating out, so it comes in handy for me since I'm not pro at skidding away my tires.
The bike is super fast, oddly it feels faster then my TREK2300 that is a all carbon frame.
I have not hooked up the speedometer to the LEADER yet to confirm this, but this bike takes offffffff-
please share your thoughts. comments & input with me,

Still kicking.
Brakes are perfectly fine.
Put some bar tape on it and adjust the bars.

my first fixie
For whatever reason I've been obsessed with buying a fixie the last two years. I generally ride my road bike to work, now I have a new commuter.
It's a 2011 Jamis Sputnik. I was very pleased with my buy, the lady I bought it from said she only rode it 4x. After going to see it I believed her looking at the condition and the tires. I changed it to the single speed side to start, the only thing I don't like is it doesnt stop very well. I plan on putting better brake pads on, thinking this will solve the problem.

Nice bike. I'd get some fenders! Brakes, and everything else for that matter, work best when there's not snow everywhere.
Next time spin it around so we can see the drive side and get a little closer.

I didnt actually ride in the snow, didn't want to get it dirty yet. I just took it out front of the house to try it. The street was nice and dry, I just couldn't wait to try it.

This bike is my first choice for wet weather, the fenders work great. The Schwalbe Big Apples are surprisingly fast for balloon tires and give a comfortable ride. Also appropriate for the current black and white trend in this thread.
