Adjustable (180) quill stem & where is Koffee Brown?
So I have been looking for a 180 degree adjustable quill stem with a long reach. The only one that I can find is the Dahon one which appears to have a short reach.
I have been periodically searching EBay and online stores for a while without any luck.
BTW, has Koffee Brown been around lately? I believe that she is the one that started this group.

I'm using a 140 mm adjustable stem on my Swift to make up for the too-small frame size. This helps but makes the steering a bit unstable. I was what your 180 mm would do to the handling.
The problem of fitting folders to larger riders isn't discussed much here unfortunately.

I can't tell how adjustable it is from the website Thor. And I would be looking for a 1" clamp (or a shim).

they do come with shims for 1 or 1 /18 but they are defintely not adjustable 180 degrees ( that wouldnt work anyhow as they would adjust into the tube which holds them .... or do i see that wrong ?? ) I would thing that they are adjustable 45 degress which would mean that if you turn the stem around you probably get a total of 75 to 80 .. degrees...
thor
you can always call me order one and if it doesnt work send it back ... no problem

I always thought that the stem angle was measured from 90 degrees such that 180 would be vertical. The idea would be to set a vertical angle when folding.
Notice what the gentleman does here with the stem in this video ...

I would like to find that stem but with a long reach.

Her mod privileges were suspended as a result of her heavy-handed techniques. Subsequently, she left voluntarily. This all happened about a year ago.
