I never said they were evil. You sound defensive. Is there something I should know about single speeds?

AR, I rode a Malvern Star Boy's Bike (Speargun Blue) for years and years and years. I loved that bike *sniff* and still do. It's just when you get a little older the gears make the hills a bit smaller again.
